1924-D 5C MS65 PCGS. While the 1924-D often comes well-struck, seldom is it offered in this level of preservation. Gems are very scarce, and finer coins are extremely rare despite a mintage of 5.2 million coins. Tan-gold with lightly toned centers, each side offers additional elements of lavender and powder-blue illuminated with soft, satiny mint luster. Crisp with a touch of softness on the bison's head. PCGS shows eight finer submissions (3/17).
