1946-D/D 5C D Over Inverted D, FS-501, MS65 Full Steps PCGS. The portrait of Jefferson is olive-gray, but the remainder of this lustrous Gem is dusky orange-gold and lilac-red. Well struck and impressively preserved. A strong lens shows the curve of an inverted mintmark west of the upright of the prominent D. Population: 13 in 65 Full Steps, 29 finer (3/17).
