1918/7-S 25C FS-101 XF45 PCGS. CAC. Easily the most recognizable variety in the Standing Liberty quarter series, the 1918/7-S was the result of the die being first prepared with a 1917-dated hub, annealed, and subsequently re-impressed with a 1918-dated hub. The bold underdigit 7 and the variety's inclusion in the Guide Book explain its perennial popularity. This Choice XF quarter is bright with traces of peripheral color. The highest points are worn, but the overall design, including the all-important date, remain well-detailed.
