1953 25C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, PR68 Deep Cameo PCGS Secure. FS-101 shows mild die doubling on the motto, date, and designer's initials. PCGS has certified only 13 Deep Cameo proof 1953 quarters in PR68, with none finer; of these, only three are designated FS-101 (3/17). The present coin is immeasurably important to the Registry Set competitor. The strike is full, and the untoned surfaces yield striking white-on-black contrast. The preservation is virtually flawless.
