Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1918-D 50C MS64 PCGS. Examples of the conditionally rare 1918-D half dollar are seldom found with strong strike characteristics. While this near-Gem has clear thumb separation, the skirt lines and peripheral elements show incompleteness. Both sides are nearly all-brilliant with radiant satin luster. A blush of tan patina occurs behind the wing feathers. Scattered ticks are well-hidden. There are 31 finer submissions at PCGS (3/17).
