Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1933-S 50C MS65 PCGS. The 1933-S is the starting point for many collectors assembling a late-date set of Walking Liberty halves. It would be difficult to find a sharper start to the collection than this Gem Walker, with essentially full definition on the head, branch hand, gown lines, and the eagle's trailing leg feathers. The coin is nearly brilliant with powerful silver luster over frosted surfaces. We note a small wedge of deep toning between U and N of UNITED and some bits of pale-almond patina, but no untoward marks disturb the dazzling eye appeal.
