Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1934-S 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Sounder. Marvelous shades of blue, green, rose, violet, and gold color most of this impeccable S-mint Walker. The remaining areas are minimally toned. Frosty luster shines through the iridescent patina, washing over boldly struck relief elements, including Liberty's head, hand, and sandals. Microscopic ticks on the sun and in the fields are inconsequential. There are only eight higher-graded submissions at PCGS. CAC: 32 in 66, 6 finer (3/17).
