1946 50C Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The best-known die variety of the Walking Liberty half series shows strong die doubling on E PLURIBUS UNUM, the pine sapling, and the eagle's front wing. Light almond-gold toning graces lustrous and nearly pristine surfaces. The strike is sharp except on the fingers of the branch hand. As of (3/17), PCGS has certified five pieces as MS66+ with none finer.
