Proof Franklin Half Dollars
1950 50C PR66 Cameo PCGS. CAC. Still regarded as a key to the Cameo series of Franklin halves, second only to the 1959. Apparently cameo contrast was a product of the use of fresh dies, and was a conscious production process in the Mint. This example is almost brilliant with just a hint of golden peripheral color and slight obverse haziness. Population: 67 in 66 (5 in 66+) Cameo, 21 finer. CAC: 34 in 66, 13 finer (3/17).
