1897 50C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. The proof Barber half dollar series is an easily completed collection in the absolute sense, but a set of Deep Cameo coins will be immensely difficult to assemble. Many dates are rare with Deep Cameo surfaces. The 1897 has a population of just 40 coins in Deep Cameo at PCGS, mostly clustered in the PR66 to PR68 grade range. This CAC-endorsed Superb Gem offers frost-white, intricately struck design elements with untoned, deeply reflective fields.
