While the strike of 1920-D half dollars is generally finer than those of the 1919-D issue, these pieces vary greatly in the quantity of design definition remaining, so collectors are advised to be patient until just the right coin comes along. Well here it is. This 1920-D has a bold strike and outstanding surfaces. Both sides are fully brilliant and untoned with bright silver surfaces and a virtual absence of handling marks.
