1890-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. When the GSA inventoried their hoard of more than 2 million Carson City dollars before the sales that took place in the 1970s, the 1890-CC proved to be a minor part of that holding, despite having the largest mintage of any Carson City issue. Only 3,610 of that issue remained, and current population data reflects the small quantity. This Premium Gem, tied for the finest certified, exhibits frosty silver luster with untoned surfaces and sharp design motifs. This is an exceptional example for the advanced Set Registry collector.
