Proof Indian Cents
Six-Piece 1899 Proof Set, PR64 to PR67, PCGS. An original, high-grade 19th century proof set, six pieces, with well-matched quality and toning, all certified by PCGS. The individual coins are:
Indian Cent PR66 Red and Brown. The original red surfaces have mellowed to light brown in some areas, and the reflectivity of the fields is somewhat dimmed, but no mentionable flaws are evident. The design elements are sharply detailed throughout.
Liberty Nickel PR66. A sharply detailed Premium Gem, with reflective fields and well-preserved surfaces that show highlights of green and lavender toning. A few linear planchet flaws are evident on the reverse.
Barber Dime PR67. Vivid shades of greenish-gold and lavender toning visit the impeccably preserved surfaces of this delightful Superb Gem, with sharply detailed devices and reflective fields underneath.
Barber Quarter PR66. A sharply detailed Premium Gem, with well-preserved surfaces and reflective fields, under shades of lavender-gray, powder-blue, and greenish-gold toning. Some faint Mint-made striations and planchet laminations show on the reverse.
Barber Half Dollar PR64. The design elements are sharply detailed, but the reflectivity of the fields is slightly dimmed by shades of sea-green and lavender toning.
Morgan Dollar PR67. Razor-sharp definition is evident on all design elements and deeply reflective fields shine through attractive shades of lavender-gray, burnt-orange, and greenish-gold toning. The surfaces are impeccably preserved.
