Indian Half Eagles
1911 $5 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The 1911 Indian half eagle claims a substantial mintage of 915,000 pieces, making the date reasonably available in lower Mint State grades. The issue becomes very scarce at the MS65 grade level, however, and finer examples are virtually unobtainable. This Plus-graded Gem exhibits razor-sharp definition on all design elements and the vivid orange-gold surfaces show no mentionable distractions. Vibrant mint luster radiates from both sides and overall eye appeal is terrific. This coin should find a home in a fine collection or Registry Set. Population: 72 in 65 (3 in 65+), 1 finer.
