High Relief Double Eagles
1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS60 PCGS. This particular High Relief will certainly be appreciated by its next owner. It offers extraordinary value for the price it will realize. As one would expect from the grade, there are flaws present. However, they are largely only visible with magnification. When held in-hand, the coin presents bright surfaces with mint frost readily apparent over each side. The strike, of course, is complete in all areas. One of the most visually pleasing aspects is the presence of light reddish patina, which grows deeper around the margins. Yes, there are a number of small contact marks present, nothing worthy of singular mention, but enough to explain the grade. The wire rim or "fin," as it is known in Mint parlance, is complete around the reverse and prominently seen around the right rim of the obverse.
