High Relief Double Eagles
1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS62 PCGS. Gold CAC. The Certified Acceptance Corporation, CAC, has only awarded their coveted gold sticker to five MCMVII High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagles, including the present MS62 PCGS example. The five examples include an MS60 Wire Rim, two MS62 Wire Rims, one MS63 Wire Rim, and one MS64 Flat Rim (3/17). An exquisite strike characterizes this example that has brilliant and satiny yellow luster. Liberty's breast and knee are fully rounded, as are the eagle's breast and top edge of the left (front) wing. Housed in a green-label PCGS holder.
