1879-O $1 MS65 PCGS. CAC. The New Orleans Mint had been out of commission since 1861, making this comeback issue popular with collectors. Examples are readily accessible through MS64 but scarce in this high grade. The cheek is unmarked, though a couple of ticks occur on the neck. Clean, frosty fields are wholly brilliant, and the motifs are well-defined.
