1883-S $1 MS64 NGC. CAC. The 1883-S is many times scarcer in Mint condition than the earlier S-mint issues from the decade, but it is far more accessible in high grades than the 1884-S. This brilliant and thickly frosted near-Gem is fully struck. Minor grazes are confined to the upper-left obverse field. Only 16 finer submissions are graded higher at NGC. CAC: 78 in 64, 4 finer (3/17).
