Morgan Dollars
1891 $1 Doubled Ear, VAM-2, Top 100, MS65 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. VAM-2 shows dramatic die doubling on Liberty's ear and the hair above it. A later die state (VAM-2A) shows a die break at Liberty's upper lip, but this variety does not. The present coin is well-struck and lustrous with a hint of light champagne toning. No major abrasions are observed. PCGS has seen only three finer 1891 dollars, all varieties included (3/17).
