1892-S $1 AU55 PCGS. Usually found in VF through lower AU grades, the 1892-S has a well-earned reputation as a major condition rarity in the series. The certified population drops by nearly half from AU55 to AU58, and truly Mint State survivors are tightly held. This lightly circulated, semireflective dollar is untoned with strong detail over the centers. Small marks throughout pose minimal distraction. The only one of note appears above the eagle's head.
