1894-S $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1894-S is scarce in MS65, although this brilliant example has the added appeal of semiprooflike fields. The strike is average for the issue, showing minor softness on the central high points. Only light grazes on Liberty's cheek prevent a finer grade. The 1894-S is rarely seen above than the Gem level. At PCGS, only 16 higher-grade coins are reported (3/17).
