1895-S $1 MS64+ PCGS. The 1895-S is a better date in all grades due to its moderately low mintage of 400,000 pieces. However, Prooflike coins are scarce. This high-end near-Gem is not fully prooflike, but the reflective fields benefit the eye appeal considerably. The strike is well-executed, and neither side exhibits meaningful toning. There are only 45 finer non-Prooflike pieces at PCGS (3/17).
