1896-O $1 MS63 PCGS. The 1896-O is a better date in high grade, being elusive in MS63 and genuinely rare any finer. Gem or better examples are prohibitively rare. This Select representative shows a few light abrasions but is generally well-preserved for the grade. Satiny silver luster rolls around each side, illuminating boldly struck design elements. PCGS has seen 32 numerically finer coins, NGC 14 (3/17).
