1901 $1 MS62 PCGS. Thoroughly lustrous and only delicately toned with a light golden hue, this Mint State 1901 Morgan dollar stands out among its peers with above-average eye appeal. Scattered light marks on the obverse limit the grade, but none are individually noticeable. The strike lacks definition only on the eagle's breast feathers and on the hair above Liberty's ear. The 1901 is a famously scarce date in Uncirculated condition, and it is particularly elusive finer than the present coin.
