1934-D $1 MS66 PCGS. Micro D. A sharply struck and exceptionally smooth Premium Gem example of this conditionally challenging Denver issue. Only a handful of tiny ticks are seen on either side. The coin is brilliant and white aside from an occasional glimpse of faint golden toning that yields to the overall silver luster. The strike could hardly be sharper. A trace of dark residue below DOLLAR (from the minting process) is mentioned, but it does not detract from the top-flight quality. Population: 87 in 66 (3 in 66+), 2 finer (3/17).
