Peace Dollars
1934-D $1 Doubled Die Obverse, VAM-3, MS66 PCGS. A Top 50 Variety. VAM-3 shows a dramatically doubled obverse, plainly obvious to the naked eye on the portrait and IN GOD WE TRUST. The 1934-D Peace dollar as a date is scarce in MS66, but VAM-3 is rare. PCGS has attributed only three VAM-3 coins in this grade and none finer. This is a fourth Premium Gem example, unattributed by PCGS. The coin is sharp and frosty with brilliant, well-preserved mint luster. Eye appeal excels. Population: 87 in 66 (3 in 66+), 2 finer (3/17).
