Commemorative Silver
1928 50C Hawaiian MS66+ PCGS. CAC. A satiny and nearly mark-free representative of the most coveted silver commemorative type. Both sides display rich olive-green and lilac toning, with the former more prevalent on the obverse and the latter occupying much of the reverse. The legends credit Captain Cook as the discoverer of Hawaii even though the islands were already populated upon his arrival. PCGS has seen four finer representatives (3/17).
