Commemorative Silver
1936-D 50C Texas MS68 NGC. This popular type was struck to commemorate the independence of Texas in 1836. Just over 9,000 examples were struck, and this example is among the finest survivors. This piece is fully struck and displays clean, immaculately preserved surfaces with only slight amounts of pale gold-tan toning noted, primarily on the obverse. Census: 13 in 68 (1 in 68 ★), 0 finer (3/17).
