Certified Modern Proof Sets
Five-Piece 1939 Proof Set PR66 to PR67 PCGS. The quintet is separately housed in holders bearing consecutive certification numbers. The set includes:
Cent PR66 Red. A magnificent orange-red specimen with seamless color and virtually carbon-free surfaces.
Reverse of 1938 Nickel PR66. A fully struck and lightly toned Premium Gem with a solitary fleck below the cheekbone. Jefferson's ribbon appears re-engraved, as made.
Dime PR66. This intricately struck example offers intermittent delicate tan-gold toning across the obverse margin. One small spot on the back of Liberty's cap.
Quarter PR67. Dappled golden-brown toning adorns the borders of this otherwise brilliant Superb Gem. Flashy, well struck, and flawless.
Half Dollar PR67. A spectacular Superb Gem. Fully struck and pristine with lightly freckled tan-gold margins. The designer's monogram is re-engraved, as made and usual for the proof date.
