1979-D $1 Anthony Dollar Mated Error Pair PCGS. Coin #1 is graded MS64, and was struck 75% off-center toward 1:30. Coin #2 is graded MS63, and has a 25% obverse indent centered at 7:30. The uniface obverse Coin #1 was struck into Coin #2. Coin #1 displays a narrow peripheral ring of copper, along with a clash mark above the shoulder. Coin #2 has a somewhat soft strike on the eagle's claws and AMERICA. The obverse of Coin #2 has a steep rim fin where the indent occurred.
