The next best thing to a Sacagawea dollar / Statehood quarter mule is a Sacagawea struck over a Statehood quarter. The Sacagawea date and mintmark are clear. The quarter date is apparent on Sacagawea's back, and the mintmark is barely visible on the edge of the eagle's tail. The minuteman's legs overlap the infant, and Washington's portrait emerges near E PLURIBUS UNUM. Untoned and lustrous.
