1852 G$1 MS65+ PCGS. The 1852 represents one of the popular gold dollar issues for type purposes given its mintage in excess of 2 million coins and its survival rate through MS64. Examples become very scare in higher grades, and this MS65+ is on the cusp of attaining status as a true condition rarity. Fully struck motifs, luminous rose-gold color, and coruscating luster certainly make this piece worthy of serious consideration. Only 18 is a trifle soft, and marks are clearly scant.
