1911-D $2 1/2 AU58 PCGS Secure. Strong D. Pale copper-gold hues around the edges lighten to wheat-gold at the centers of this partly lustrous and practically Uncirculated key date quarter eagle. Grade-limiting friction is exceedingly difficult to pick up on, becoming apparent only upon close scrutiny of the upper part of the cheek. The strike is crisp. Thin marks are scattered over the surfaces.
