Indian Half Eagles
1914-D $5 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Shimmering shades of lilac and apricot accent the orange-gold surfaces of this near-Gem 1914-D. The strike is sharp but not quite full on the lowest headdress feathers. Abrasions are usually the problem for the Denver issue, but not so on this minimally marked and thoroughly attractive example. CAC endorsed and rightfully so. PCGS reports a scant 20 examples in numerically finer grades (3/17).
