1876-S $10 XF45 ANACS. It is estimated that 80 to 100 examples of the 1876-S eagle survive from a tiny mintage of 5,000 coins. The issue is unknown in Mint State. Moderate blending on the stars and forecurls is unsurprising. The overall impression remains clear, and flashes of partial luster become apparent under proper lighting conditions. Abrasions are peppered throughout.
