1890-CC $10 MS62 PCGS. Variety 1-A. The 1890-CC comes from a paltry mintage of 17,500 pieces, and is usually seen in Extremely Fine to MS61. MS62s are very scarce and higher-grade examples are rare. Reddish-gold surfaces display luster near the margins. The design elements are better struck than usual, particularly the star centers and Liberty's hair. Scattered marks are less severe than the typically seen heavy abrasions. The only spot is visible below the left upright in the N of TEN. Population: 49 in 62, 9 finer (1/17).
