New Orleans eagle output reached 72,041 coins in 1901, about double the number struck at that facility in 1899. This pleasing straw-gold ten is exceedingly frosty and well-struck. The fields feature minimal grazes for the Select grade. Population: 78 in 63 (3 in 63+), 23 finer (3/17).
