Liberty Double Eagles
1852 $20 AU58+ PCGS. With more than 2 million double eagles struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1852, it should come as little surprise that this is one of the more available No Motto issues and a good choice for type representation. This frosty, green-gold example just barely misses out on a Mint State assessment but clearly has the look of an Uncirculated coin. The hair detail is full, and abrasions are peppered over each side.
