Liberty Double Eagles
1855-S $20 AU55 PCGS. Like the 1854-S, the '55-S double eagle is scarce in Mint State. This Choice AU representative is much more obtainable for many collectors. Remnants of luster are seen in the protected portions of the fields, and the devices are well-defined. A couple of reed marks on Liberty's cheek are the only mentionable abrasions.
