1860 $20 MS60 PCGS. About half of the 82 1860 twenty dollar gold pieces recovered from the S.S. Brother Jonathan were Uncirculated, dramatically increasing the number of Mint State survivors. This piece does not appear to have spent any time at the bottom of the sea. Each side is typically struck with green-gold color and myriad abrasions. Population: 15 in 60, 57 finer (3/17).
