1866-S $20 Motto, Misplaced Date, FS-1301, AU50 PCGS. The top curve of an 8 looms above the dentils west of the date. Apparently scarce, since PCGS has certified only three examples as FS-1301, all in XF45 or AU50 grades. A minimally abraded yellow-gold representative with a small area of steel-gray patina beneath the first S in STATES.
