1869-S $20 MS61 ANACS. A Mint State rarity, this lustrous and true-to-grade example resides in a small-sized ANACS holder. Brilliant sun-gold luster pours across both sides of the lightly abraded, Mint-fresh surfaces, punctuated by a deeply impressed San Francisco strike. We note a short nick on the lower jawline and another shallow nick just off the top point of the coronet, and a short reeding mark near star 11. All is grade-consistent with dazzling visual impact.
