1871-S $20 AU58 NGC. Micro S. The scarcity of Uncirculated Type Two double eagles is well known. Although the present coin falls just short of a Mint State designation, it displays considerable apricot-gold luster, and high-point friction is difficult to locate. Both sides display a smattering of small to moderate abrasions.
