1882-CC $20 AU58 NGC. Variety 1-B. Tantalizingly close to full Mint State, this near-Mint 1882-CC fits well among higher-graded pieces at a much friendlier price. Brilliant yellow-gold surfaces show the expected tiny marks from contact and coin-to-coin abrasion, but no hard hits. The mint luster is nearly full throughout both sides. Liberty's hair strands and bun are sharply defined. NGC reports just 75 numerically finer pieces (3/17).
