Liberty Double Eagles
1893 $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1893 double eagle is plentiful in MS60-63 grades. It is scarce in MS64 and extremely rare above that. The lustrous surfaces on this piece are clearly suggestive of Gem quality, but a few small abrasions prevent a higher grade. Sharply struck throughout with lovely, medium orange-gold coloration. Population: 91 in 64 (4 in 64+), 0 finer (3/17).
