Liberty Double Eagles
1904 $20 MS66 PCGS. The 1904 Liberty double eagle was produced in large numbers and examples are readily available in high grade, making the issue quite popular for type purposes. The 1904 is extremely rare above the MS66 level, however. This spectacular Premium Gem is sharply detailed throughout, with vibrant mint luster on both sides and terrific eye appeal. PCGS has graded only two numerically finer examples (317).
