Liberty Double Eagles
1904-S $20 MS65 PCGS. Sharply struck and attractive with frosty luster and lovely rose-gold surfaces. Slightly lower mintage than the Philadelphia example of this date, but still the second highest mintage of the entire Liberty Head double eagle series (5.1 million pieces). Only one finer example of the date has been graded by PCGS (3/17).
