1924-S $20 MS63 PCGS. A lustrous and original pumpkin-orange representative. Marks are minor for the grade, and the strike is sharp except on Liberty's nose. A loupe reveals a mint-made mattelike finish, especially on the reverse and the obverse margin. The mintage approached 3 million pieces but is of only historical interest because most were melted by the Treasury on the heels of the 1933 gold recall.
