Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1926-S $20 MS64 PCGS. For most collectors, even those that are more advanced, the MS64 grade level provides an ideal compromise between grade and price. Although more than 2 million of these coins were originally struck, few were actually distributed at the time of issue, with the majority of pieces melted a few years later. Delightful orange-gold and lilac color is interspersed over each side. The piece is sharply struck with only a few scattered bagmarks. Rarely seen finer.
