Struck in Birmingham, England by William Joseph Taylor, this issue apparently never made it past the pattern stage, as no examples have ever been found in gold composition. The design elements are sharply detailed throughout and the reflective surfaces show only minor signs of contact, under vivid shades of violet toning.
